[T3] type3-vwtype3.org Digest, Vol 41, Issue 4

I've had a 2300cc type 4 in my notch since...well let's see...ummm.

2004 ?

Never an issue.

It was a bolt in. Swingaxle car. I cut down a bus rear hanger and
fabricated some brackets (no cutting or welding on cars sheet metal). Got
the cooling fan intake adapter from a type 4 wagon to adapt to the type 3
air channels (if needed - there are plans on the samba to fabricate one out
of sheet metal if the type 4 adapters are unavailable).

really.....if you have a running engine...it's about a weekend job.

There are several people on list list have have been to shows with
me...never an issue. Head temps and oil temps run fine (as per my
"innacurate ?" VDO gauges)

Just to be clear. I have purchased from Jake Raby in the past. Have
actually been to his shop.

I talked to him at length when tuning the engine. He never tried to steer
me away from the install.

Just my .02

Dan
